The purpose of this website is to provide information about my skills and experience as a technical author. This information is supplementary to my CV.

I've worked as a technical author since 1999, having previously been employed in the university sector. I came to technical publishing partly for a practical reason in that I wanted to relocate to southern England. I also had a desire to do something different. I enjoy writing and communication, and it was this transferable skill which drew me to becoming a technical author.
